There are five panels in the entrance on Del Libertador Avenue 8151 that provide information about the inscription of the ESMA Museum and Site of Memory in the UNESCO World Heritage List and the Space for Memory and Human Rights as a Buffer Zone.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE
The ESMA Museum and Site of Memory – Former Clandestine Center of Detention, Torture and Extermination was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on September 19, 2023 at the annual meeting held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Museum-Site is located within the Space for Memory and Human Rights (former ESMA). According to the Declaration approved by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, the entire site is protected as it is considered a buffer zone.

PATRIMÔNIO MUNDIAL DA UNESCO
O Museu-Sítio de Memória ESMA – Ex-Centro Clandestino de Detenção, Tortura e Extermínio foi reconhecido como Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO em 19 de setembro de 2023, durante a reunião anual realizada em Riad, Arábia Saudita.
O Museu-Sítio está localizado dentro do Espaço Memória e Direitos Humanos (ex-ESMA). De acordo com a Declaração aprovada pelo Comitê do Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO, todo o prédio está protegido por ser considerado uma zona de amortecimento.

The ESMA Museum and Site of Memory was recognized as a World Heritage Site for being representative of the illegal repression carried out and coordinated by the dictatorships of Latin America in the 1970s and 1980s, based on the enforced disappearance of people.

THE SPACE FOR MEMORY AND HUMAN RIGHTS AS A BUFFER ZONE
The Space for Memory and Human Rights (formerly ESMA) is a site open to the community where different public institutions and Human Rights organizations work towards a common goal: to remember the victims of State terrorism, preserve the memory of crimes against humanity so they will not happen again, and defend and promote Human Rights.
